Looking at life through my rear view mirror I can clearly see how my passion to paint has been with me always. For three decades I had been an enthusiastic Hair Designer,  Salon Owner, worked on movie sets, traveled the country doing hair. A few years ago I took a suggestion given me and began painting. Laying down the sheers and picking up a brush carried me into my next medium. I find the exploration of texture, color, flow, balance, layering, discovering and uncovering lead me to the mystery of Abstract art. A personal interpretation left to the observer. The inspiration comes from the desire to see life from an abstract spiritual journey. Letting go of the Self, a daring, intoxicating proposal for the malignant ego.

Being the first local female artist whose piece was selected by the Methodist Women Hospital was an honor. Also at the Cancer Center in Village Pointe.
