About ten years ago, my sisters and I took a jewelry making class just because it looked like fun. I was instantly hooked and have been making necklaces, bracelets and earrings ever since. It was fun being able to make my own jewelry, however, it quickly got out-of-hand when I had more pieces than I could possibly wear. Selling my jewelry started with women buying it off my body when I wore it to work and evolved in to me hosting a Spring and Fall show in my home. Mother Nature provides a seemingly endless supply of stones and pearls allowing me to make unique pieces which I do not duplicate.
After retiring from 35 years in the corporate world, I have more time to spend doing what I enjoy…making jewelry and volunteering at the Nebraska Humane Society. People have asked if I have a web site, but I believe you need to see and touch my pieces to appreciate the character of the stones. My joy comes when I see the smile on someone’s face as they fall in love with one of my pieces…I can’t see that from a web site.
